I'll be discussing a lot of what I learned in future posts.

But I don't think the third space quilt is going to get done. After all, it's more than a decade old and I'm in a new place now.
kathynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-588118538433483895.post-83289861562922940032012-12-06T02:08:30.979-05:002012-12-06T02:08:30.979-05:00If your third quilt is as fabulous as the other tw...If your third quilt is as fabulous as the other two, you should definitely finish it up! Being involved with many sides of exhibitions, I think you might just need to look for different venues that will be right for your quilts. Do you subscribe to the "Fiber Arts Calls for Entry" blog? I've had good results from trying unusual or smaller shows that fit my artwork, such as the UC Davis Feminist Art Show and the Wa State Thoroughbred Association Equine Art Show. Sometimes looking at catalogs of the larger shows will help you get a feel for the types of pieces, or range of styles, which they seem attracted to. Don't get discouraged by a few rejections-all the best artists have had to keep going in spite of rejection of their work. Another way to get your work out their is to send it in to be published in one of your favorite magazines. I hope to see your third space quilt here soon !Christina Fairley Ericksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10229688169194750430noreply@blogger.com
