I do find hand stitching very calming, and if you do it in small bits it doesn't take all that much patience.<br /><br />Shannon: yes, I do them all without marking. At the beginning of the year a lot of my wreaths and circles were indeed lumpy (see my post on Jan. 18) but with practice they got much nicer.<br /><br />You can mark a circle by tracing around a spool or small glass with the dull end of your needle. It won't leave a permanent mark but will give you enough of a guide to do your stitching.
