He must have been well-known in the world of typography.

I found that passage interesting, as I used to do page layout for the Chicago Sun-Times. I saw so many changes in the world of typesetting (I started with ruler, T square and wax!) I'd like to read this book. Glad newspapers are being preserved in some way!

Thanks for sharing another interesting post.JanQdesign Creative Explorationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01544270653846838097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-588118538433483895.post-68335479802431215882017-03-23T13:01:12.847-04:002017-03-23T13:01:12.847-04:00Thanks for another interesting and informative blo...Thanks for another interesting and informative blog post! Which is a bit sad as sitting on the porch with a newspaper and a cup of coffee is a very pleasant way to spend a morning. Or, about 20 minutes given the size of our newspaper.

It's hard to use a tablet in art. Can't cut pieces out and put in a new context.

Which reminds me of this painting from That Is Priceless. https://njsmyth.wordpress.com/2015/01/26/how-people-ignored-each-other-before-smartphones/ Leigh in Portland (we are not burning down)https://www.blogger.com/profile/06372544021604211747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-588118538433483895.post-78855222432475458472017-03-23T09:51:55.587-04:002017-03-23T09:51:55.587-04:00Just been to Tate Modern looking at how Rauschenbe...Just been to Tate Modern looking at how Rauschenberg used newspapers in his work!magsramsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16559934058887308651noreply@blogger.com
