I too applaud you for doing this project, and the uniform / other fabric is inspired. How do you make sure that the space between the pieces is uniform? I was thinking you would use a washable fusible or something to keep things straight but it doesn't look like you are doing that.Shelina (formerly known as Shasta)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03290945204269323129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-588118538433483895.post-41366110431457413522021-08-27T08:32:52.911-04:002021-08-27T08:32:52.911-04:00You do find the most fascinating projects I especi...You do find the most fascinating projects I especially like that you are using uniform material on one side and other fabrics for the back. I had a problem getting the exact numbers and ended up speaking to the police who commented---- could there be an exact number as they said what if we go to the door to tell someone their loved one has been shot or died in a bombing and they drop dead from shock or die with shock within hours are they a victim or the troubles, I was not commemorating those who were in the services as civilians were victims of the gunmen etc. This piece has just been bought by our Museum which has a collection to do with "The Troubles". I do a lot of work to do with conflict and how it affects families.
