I spent some time researching this on google, mainly looking for information sources that I trust. Here's the best one that I came across. After reading it I am not concerned -- and for Janet, it says we don't have to worry about the flaking teflon either because it will just come out the other end.
kathynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-588118538433483895.post-27013588343699246872017-04-24T11:12:27.386-04:002017-04-24T11:12:27.386-04:00Gee whiz I love that you still have these pans but...Gee whiz I love that you still have these pans but cooking with aluminum might not be a great idea any more...Becki @ the beachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04334309603205750325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-588118538433483895.post-59294591633344677962017-04-24T01:09:59.592-04:002017-04-24T01:09:59.592-04:00I have a set of Revereware copper bottom skillets ...I have a set of Revereware copper bottom skillets and pots that I got from Grandma when I went to college and apartment living. I love them - three sizes, matching lids that also fit the skillets. Eventually I got married (about 25 1/2 years ago) and still cook with them now. I also have some cast iron, but don't use them as much due to the glass top range. I cook with the pans my mom bought after she graduated from nursing school, and bake with the mixing bowls she received from my dad's grandmother when they got married. Last night when we made pasta, my partner reminisced about when his mom bought the nice, big pot in which we were boiling the water. Why would we ever want new things?
