I also love stripes and did not notice other types anywhere. But I was trying not to look at and buy fabric.
The group I was with did not buy nearly as much as usual at a big show. I know for me it was mainly because I recently sorted through a lot of my stuff and sold a bunch at our guild's treasure table during Quilter's Day Out. So, I had money but not the desire to accumulate as much stuff as I have in the past. However - we are going to Paducah in a couple of weeks...
Robin WalstonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-588118538433483895.post-1122970796164500542011-04-11T21:10:14.664-04:002011-04-11T21:10:14.664-04:00Lisa -- somebody else told me today about going to...Lisa -- somebody else told me today about going to the Aurifil vendor. I could have sworn we hit every booth in the building, but apparently we missed that one. rats.kathynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-588118538433483895.post-70969763723910183412011-04-11T16:41:20.904-04:002011-04-11T16:41:20.904-04:00Wow, Kathy, there was an Aurifil dealer there...bu...Wow, Kathy, there was an Aurifil dealer there...but a friend of mine and I were commenting that a lot of vendors who had done the Chicago show or were local (or nearly local) weren't there. I'm wondering if they were waiting until next year to see how it went before committing...or if they were just going to go to Paducah in a couple of weeks and skip OH since it is so close.... It was a nice show and certainly the cleanliness of the venue and the lower prices were a boon, but Ohio has such a time refuting it's "flyover state" status. I wish I would have seen you there...maybe I did but didn't recognize you. I was stunned when I was told the total I had cranked up at the Superior Threads booth!

Some dealers sold out....others were complaining....who knows?

Lisa QuintanaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15140675211931598431noreply@blogger.com
