I know that when you make "yarn" from leftover textiles you neither expect nor want to have perfect color matches from skein to skein. But these don't even look close:

Totally true. I saw these in Hobby Lobby and thought the same thing. But they are all so gorgeous, it is hard to pick one. I am using them for couching lines onto my art quilts and loving the results.
I've only used sari yarn for couching and I love it. I think I need to get to Hobby Lobby and check these out. Color matching for knitting? With these, color match is overrated!

ReplyDeleteThis applies to fabrics and threads too! Many a time I have been disappointed to find miss matching dye lots!
