Here's a closeup of the pink quilt I wrote about yesterday so you can see the quilting. The parallel lines extend horizontally across the entire quilt. Occasionally there's a diagonal line that also goes across the entire quilt.
I guess it's an optical illusion, but when you look at the whole quilt it looks like you've quilted each little section separately. That would be insane!
Norma -- I once did quilt each little section separately, and you're right, it was insane. I can't figure out how to put a link into the comment box, but go back to my post of February 28 and see what it looked like. Probably won't be doing that again.
