I have the same kind of "light-up" ceramic Christmas tree! I received it as a housewarming gift from one of my parent's elderly neighbors 20 years ago!
As you can see, I have two!! They came from my mother, who must have acquired hers at least 30 years ago; I think one was made by her friend as a gift. After Mom died my sister asked everybody in the family if anybody wanted the trees. My brother and niece and nephew all said they wouldn't be caught dead with such tacky things. So I got both of them and I LOVE them. I don't even do a big tree any more since I have my two tiny ones.
I've been doing daily art for a long time, and everything since 2010 is documented in my other blog. This year it's painting. Click on the photo to check it out.

About me
I make abstract art -- usually with a needle but sometimes with a pen, brush or camera, scissors and glue, pliers and wirecutters, whatever is there. I have a husband, two sons, seven sewing machines, a big messy studio and lots of other people's art. Life is good!
