Interesting way to raise funds. But wouldn't it be better at a more discreet size or color? And is the NAMING AVAILABLE line silkscreened on this glass/plexi? Does that mean that they will throw the original out when they do get a sponsor thus adding to the waste stream? Particularly love the scenic view sign. Maybe we need to put one of those at highway overlooks to offset governmental cuts in the highway funds. I can just see it now: Taco Bell Smoky Mountains.
I've been doing daily art for a long time, and everything since 2010 is documented in my other blog. This year it's painting. Click on the photo to check it out.

About me
I make abstract art -- usually with a needle but sometimes with a pen, brush or camera, scissors and glue, pliers and wirecutters, whatever is there. I have a husband, two sons, seven sewing machines, a big messy studio and lots of other people's art. Life is good!

ReplyDeleteTimes are tough, but really, this is too much!
ReplyDeleteI love this post. Do you think once someone has paid for the naming rights I could have (buy I guess) one of the now useless signs?
